Woe to the scribes and Pharisees; they bind heavy burdens hard to bear and lay them on men’s shoulders; they devour widows houses in for pretense make long prayers; they travel land and sea to win one Prost Lane and when he is one you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves; fools and blind! They pay type of mint and anise and cummin and I’ve neglected the weightier matters of the law; The cleanse the outside of the cup and dish but inside they are full of extortion and self indulgence; they are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly but inside are full of Dead Man’s Bones in all uncleanness; they build the tombs of profits in a door in the monuments of the righteous; The chief priests, the scribes, and the elders confront Jesus and ask him but what authority are you doing these things? Or who is he who gave you this authority? Jesus tells the parable of a certain man who plans a vineyard leased it to the vinedressers and went into a far country for a long time; The chief priests and scribes seek to lay hands on Jesus but they feared the people; The Pharisees asked Jesus is it lawful for us to pay taxes to Caesar or not? The Sadducees ask Jesus about the Levirate marriage; The poor widow puts into mites putting in all the livelihood that she has; Jesus warns the people when you hear of wars in commotions do not be terrified for these things must come to pass first but the end will not come immediately; “Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the son of man.“
