Joshua Chapter 2

Joshua sends two spies to Jericho to go and observe the land. The two spies encounter Rahab the harlot and she hides them from the people of Jericho. Rahab asks for a trustworthy countersign as an oath between her and the two spies that her and her father’s household will be protected from the pending destruction. The two spies give to Rahab a cord of scarlet thread and tell her to place it in her window as the trustworthy countersign. Rahab tells the two spies to hide in the mountains for three days until the pursuers return from their search. The two men return to Joshua and provide him with a good report: YHVH has given the land into our hands; and all the inhabitants of the land have even melted because of us“. Bible Study 1/10/21 - Leviticus 22-24

Safe guarding the Terumah offering; only unblemished animals can be used as offerings; you shall not desecrate my holy name, rather I should be sanctified among the children of Israel; YHVH’s appointed festivals that you are to designate as holy convocation these are my appointed festivals: Sabbath, Pesach, Festival of Matzos, Counting of the Omer; Shavuot, Yom Teruah , Yom Kippur, and Sukkot; The Menorah yes to be continually late from evening until morning; The show bread, 12 loaves, 6 in each stack, with frankicense put upon them. The showbread is to be arranged every Sabbath as an eternal decree. blasphemer was placed under guard and then the children of Israel stoned him to death outside the camp for what YHVH had commanded Moses.
