C.R.P. Day 293 - Matthew 16; Mark 8;

The Pharisees and the Sadducees come to Jesus asking for a sign to be given them; Jesus responds that a sign will not be given to them except the sign of the prophet Jonah; Jesus warns his disciples to beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees; Jesus is disciples understood that there were to be where of the doctrine of the Pharisees and the Sadducees; Jesus asked his disciples who do men say that he is; people say that Jesus was John the Baptist or Elijah or Jeremiah or one of the prophets; Simon Peter says that Jesus is the Christ the son of the living God; Jesus commands us disciples to tell no one that he is Jesus the Christ; Jesus tells his disciples that he must suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes and be killed and be raised the third day; Jesus rebukes Peter and says to him “get behind me Satan!“ Jesus told the disciples anyone who tries to save his life will lose it but whoever loses his life for His sake will find it; Jesus feeds the multitude of 4000 with seven loaves of bread and a few fishes; Jesus comes to Bethsaida and heals a blind man; Jesus spits on his eyes and puts his hands on him and the blame and says that he sees men like trees walking; Jesus put his hands on the blind man again and the man’s sight was restored and he saw everyone clearly; Jesus tells the blind man not to go into town and not to tell anyone in the town; Jesus asked his disciples what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul

C.R.P. Day 292 - Matthew 15; Mark 7;

Describes in the Pharisees ask Jesus why his disciples transgress the tradition of the elders; Jesus response why did they transgress the commandment of God; Jesus tells his disciples that what comes out of a man’s mouth defiles him not what he puts into his mouth; what comes out of a man’s mouth comes from his heart for out of the heart precedes evil thoughts, murderers, adultery, fornication, theft, false witness, blasphemies; Jesus goes to Tyre and Sidon and meets a Canaanite woman who ask him to heal her daughter from demon possession; Jesus tells the woman that he only comes to the last ship of the house of Israel; Jesus tells the woman that it’s not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs; The woman response that even the little dogs eat crumbs from the masters table; Jesus heals the woman’s daughter because of her great faith; Jesus feeds the 4000 men, not including women and children, with seven loaves and a few little fish; Jesus is disciples take up seven large baskets full of fragments after the multitude has been fed; Jesus heals a man who is deaf and has an impediment of his speech; Jesus takes the man aside puts his fingers into the man ears and spits and touches the man’s tongue then he looks up to heaven size and says to him “be opened”; immediately the man’s ears are open and the impediment of his tongue is loosed Jesus commands the man to tell no one; people are astonished because he’s able to make the deaf here and the mute to speak;

C.R.P. Day 291 - John 6

Jesus goes over the sea of Galilee and a great multitude follow him; The Passover was soon approaching and Jesus feeds the multitude of 5000 with five barley loaves and two small fish; Jesus walks on water on the multitude asks how he came to Capernaum; Jesus tells the multitude to labor for the food which endures to everlasting life; Jesus tells the multitude that He is the bread of life, hewho comes to Hi shall never hunger and he who believes in Him shall never thirst; Your fathers ate manna in the wilderness and are dead but Jesus will give his flesh and His blood, and whoever eats it has eternal life;

C.R.P. Day 290 - Matthew 14; Mark 6; Luke 9;

John the Baptist is beheaded; Jesus feeds 5000 with five loaves and two fishes; Jesus walks on water and commands Peter to walk on water also; Jesus heals the sick in the land of Gennesarat; Jesus teaches in the synagogue in his native land; Jesus sends out the disciples out two by two and gives them power over unclean spirits; Harold believes that Jesus is either John the Baptist risen from the dead, Elijah, or another prophet; Jesus takes Peter John and James up to the mountain of transfiguration;

C.R.P. Day 289 - Matthew 10

names of the 12 disciples and what Jesus charge them to do; Heal the sick cleanse the lepers raise the dead cast out demons freely you have received freely give; if the household is worthy let your peace come upon it but if it is not where they let your piece return to you; and whoever will not receive you nor hear your words when you depart from that house or city shake off the dust from your feet; but when they deliver you up do not worry about how or what you should speak for it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; do you not think that I came to bring peace on earth I did not come to bring peace but a sword; for I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter in law against her mother-in-law; he who finds his life will lose it and he who loses his life for my sake will find it;

Parable of the sower; is a lamp to be put under a basket or a bed?; The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground; Jesus calms the sea; Jesus commands the unclean spirit to come out of the Man by the tombs of Gadarene; The unclean spirits, “Legion” asked to be sent into the swine; The woman with the issue of blood is healed; Jairus’ daughter is raised from the dead; Jesus commands that the daughter should be given something to eat;

C.R.P. Day 287 - Matthew 13; Luke 8

Parables: Of the sower; kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed; The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed; The kingdom of heaven is like leaven; Jesus is told that his Mother and his Brothers are outside; Jesus calms the sea; Jesus commands the unclean spirit to come out of the demon possessed man who lives by the tombs in Gadarene; The demons are called Legion and ask permission to be sent in the herd of swine.  They enter into the swine and violently ran down the steep place into the lake and drowned; Jesus tells the man who was posses to return to his own house and tell what great things God has done for him; Jesus heals the woman with an issue of blood for 12 years;  Jesus raises Jairus daughter from the dead;  Once she's raised he commands that she be given something to eat;

C.R.P. Day 286 - Luke 11

Lord teach us to pray, The Lord’s Prayer;  Ask and it will be given to you, Seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you;  Jesus was tested by some who said He casts out demons by Beelzebub and others who sought from Him a sign;  He tells them that a house divided against "a house falls.   A strong man fully armed guards his own palace his goods are in peace.  But when a stronger than he comes and upon him and overcomes him he takes from him all his armor in which he trusted and divides his spoils;  An unclean spirit leaves a man, and find no wear to rest returns to the man bringing 7 other spirits more wicked than himself and they enter and dwell there; the last state of the man is worse than the first;  A woman in the crows raised her voice and said "Blessed is the woman that bore You and the breasts which nursed You!"  Jesus responds "more than that blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!  The only sign that will be given is the sign of Jonah;  No one when he lights a lamp puts it in a secret place or under a basket but on a lampstand that those who come in may see  the light; The Pharisee marvels that Jesus doesn't first wash before dinner;  Jesus says to him "Now you Pharisees make the outside of the cup and dish clean but your inward part is full of greed and wickedness;  Foolish ones! Did not He who made the outside make the inside also?;  Jesus rebukes the lawyers "Woe to you also lawyers! For you load men with burden hard to bear and you yourselves do not touch the burdens with one of your fingers.  Woe to you! for you build the tombs of the prophets and your fathers killed them; Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge.  You did not enter in yourselves and those who were entering in you hindered;  The Pharisees assail Him vehemently ling in wait for Him to catch Him in something so that they might accuse Him;

The Copper Altar, the Courtyard's lace hangings and dimensions.

 

C.R.P. Day 285 - Matthew 11

John the Baptist bears from prison about The works of Jesus and sends two of his disciples sand has them ask Jesus is he the Coming One or do we look for another?  Jesus tells John's disciples the blind see the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed the deaf hear, the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them;  John the Baptist is Elijah;  Woe to Chorazin, Bethsaida, Capernum for Tyre, Sidon, and Sodom would repent had the might works that Jesus performed been done in those cities;  "Come to Me all you who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest"; "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your souls"; "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
