YHVH tells Jonah to go Ninevah as their wickedness has come before him. Jonah decides to flee and go to Tarshish instead by ship. A great tempest frightens the men on the ship and they heave Jonah into the sea. Jonah spends 3 days and nights inside a large fish. Jonah goes to Ninevah and the people of Ninevah from great to small don sackcloth and fasted. YHVH relented in his anger toward Ninevah. Jonah is displeased and grieved because of Ninevah.
